Coaching normally leads to innovation and creativity and
I am convinced that those two factors are causative when dissatisfaction is
present in choice of career or changing from one career to another.  There
must be leeway for innovation and creativity on the job at some level, for
enthusiasm to remain or increase.  Choosing a career undoubtedly involves
confusion for many young people, when they try to weigh options. For others,  
stress, anticipation or frustration are often the culprits
.
Basic Career Coaching applies to situations when there
is hardly a choice.
It also applies to situations where there are many
options to choose from.  How does one achieve clarity and focus?  How does
one develop enthusiasm for a dull prospect?  One good step, apart from
'reality checks', is to look at the authentic self. That happens through a
process of questioning, reflection and telling the truth. The
reality check, of
course, confirms what skills, attributes and attitudes you are bringing to the
situation and which ones are missing
.






Supportive Career Coaching facilitates making choices at
the beginning of a process, as well as assists you in  abandoning fears,
doubts and inhibitions.  Coaching helps you replace them with goals, plans
and expectations.  Taking positive and intelligent action is the ultimate result
for you.

Interactive Career Coaching allows you to boldly face
changes and enter into more challenging situations  since
leaving a rut, even when it is decidedly a rut is a very scary matter for many
people.  Career change may be forced on us, or decided on by us.  It may be
within a company or may be a switch to another employer or manager, or to
another location.  Each of these aspects carry their own dimensions of
concern and triggers for unrest in the career-changer.  Role playing is a co-
creative tool in trying to sort out feelings and  facts.
